Where all around in the city & periphery, these ureteral stones are managed with endoscopy, internal instruments, drilling, general anesthesia and indoor hospital admissions, the same stones are managed within hours in our centre, without any general anesthesia, hospital admission or internal tubing or drilling, caring no chance of infection, hepatitis or AIDS, making this technology a great blessing & convenience for the patients.
Due to state of the art technology & vast experience, the majority of stones in ureter are now broken down at the same place (insitu), by applying the machine over the skin, without any additional procedure to push up the stone, back in kidney. The treatment of these stones is now possible through out the length of ureter, whether in upper, middle or lower part.

He is especially trained from Germany in Lithotripsy (ESWL), and having vast experience in this field for 23 years. Hundred of thousands of patients has got ESWL treatment under his direct supervision till today.
Dr. Zahid Hussain has done his F.Sc. from Government College Lahore, M.B.B.S. from King Edward Medical College Lahore, Postgraduate (F.C.P.S.) from The College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan, and Fellowship (F.A.C.S.) from The American College of Surgeons (USA). He has served in Mayo Hospital, Services Hospital and Jinnah Hospital, Lahore in various capacities in Surgery & Urology. He got ESWL & endourological training from John Guttenberg University, mines, Germany (world's renowned medical university). His Thesis and research paper in F.C.P.S. examination from The College of Physicians & Surgeons was also regarding ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy). He is an author of an exclusive book "The efficacy of ESWL in Urolithiasis", available in the market.
